Step-by-step Guide

The combined (length & girth) penis enlargement surgery is minimally invasive lasts around 90 minutes and it involves two steps, performed simultaneously under general anesthesia on a day case basis.

Step 1. Ligamentolysis - Length Enhancement

Penis lengthening surgery involves performing a treatment called ligamentolysis.

In all men, part of the penis is not externally visible and extends inside the body. The hidden part, as it is often referred to, is attached to the pubic bone through a connective tissue called the suspensory ligaments. These do not play any role in the functioning of the penis but help retain an upwards facing erection, as opposed to downwards which is the natural tendency of the penis.

Ligamentolysis is the basis of a penis lengthening operation and the surgical procedure involves cutting some of the suspensory ligaments. This allows part of the “hidden” penis to move downwards and outside the body. As a result, the visible length of the penis increases.

The surgical steps are the following:

-Half-moon incision - A small incision is made at the area where the penile shaft connects to the pubic bone

-Cutting of the suspensory ligaments - Through this incision, the surgeon accesses the suspensory ligaments and cuts them

-Implanting a silicon buffer - In order to prevent re-attachment of the ligaments, the surgeon sutures a small silicon buffer (this is typically a testicular implant) at the empty space that has been created between the pubic bone and penile shaft

-Closing of the incision - The surgeon closes the initial incision by using absorbable stitches

Step 2. Autologous Fat Injection - Girth Enhancement

Autologous (i.e. harvested from the patient) fat injection is the most widely used technique for girth enhancement. In summary, the treatment involves extracting fat from the abdomen and thigh areas, filtering the fat and injecting it under the penile skin with the aim of increasing its girth.

The surgical steps are the following:

-Abdominal/Thigh Fat Suction (Harvesting Autologous Fat) - This is the first step where, from an appropriately identified area, fat cells are harvested from your body through a micro-incision using a special cannula.

-Fat Preparation - After the fat has been harvested, it is specially processed so as to remove any non-fat tissue. This ensures that the post-surgery survival of fat inside the penis is maximized and the girth gain is retained.

-Fat Injection in the penis - The fat is injected through a small incision on the base of the penis and distributed evenly throughout the penile shaft
